Korean gaming startup NPIXEL, developer of Gran Saga, has joined the local “unicorns club” after receiving yet another new round of investments. The company is now valued at over 1 trillion Korean Won, which is about 860 million USD. The latest Round B investment is led by Saehan Startup Investment with 100 billion Korean Won, which is about 86 million USD.
NPIXEL is touted as the fastest game company to reach the unicorn status in the Korean gaming industry. NPIXEL is now looking to launch Gran Saga in Japan, followed by more regions. It is also developing the second game, Chrono Odyssey.
