Back in December 2019, Nexon closed the global server of Durango: Wild Lands, a rather unique mobile game perhaps too ahead of its time. While the population was small, those who stayed till the end formed a close knitted community. Recently, it was spotted that Nat Games, a subsidiary under Nexon, is hiring new staff to work on Project DX under its DX Studio. Surprisingly, it is related to Durango: Wild Lands!
As far as we know from the job postings, Project DX is a mobile MMORPG based on the Durango: Wild Lands IP. It will be launched for the global market, as experience in developing for a global environment is one of the hiring criteria. DX Studio is a new team within Nat Games, comprising of veterans who worked on Overhit, V4, and HIT. The former development lead of Durango is now working on Project HP.
