While the whole of Southeast Asia is anticipating the launch of Ragnarok X: Next Generation under new publisher Nuverse (the gaming platform under ByteDance, owner of TikTok), Korean developer TikTok is preparing to flood the world with 3 more games based on the Ragnarok IP for the rest of 2021. They are mainly The Lost Memories: a Song of Valkyrie (mobile), Ragnarok Begins (PC), and Project S (mobile).
The development of Project S has already started for sometime, though developer Gravity Neocyon recently just began heavy recruitment to make a final push for the end product. You can check out more details for Project S here.
While I am a fan of Ragnarok Online growing up and for a time sold zeny to make extra pocket money, and even witnessed the failure of the 2 failed Ragnarok 2 projects, it seems that Gravity is too eager and heavy-handed in launching new Ragnarok titles. There is certainly brand fatigue going on here, and I expect gamers to soon abandon any games related to Ragnarok Online. Hopefully Gravity knows what it is doing!
