HanbitSoft, the Korean games publisher famous for games such as Granado Espada (Sword of the New World) and AIKA, recently announced it has raised 130 billion Korean Won (around 11.5 million US Dollars) through issuing convertible bonds. The fund will be used to secure liquidity and business investment.
HanbitSoft did mention that part of the new fund is allocated for the development of Granado Espada M, which was officially announced back in 2019. While a contract was signed with original developer IMC Games (Tree of Savior) to work on the IP, Granado Espada M will be fully developed by HanbitSoft’s internal team.
