According to foreign reports, Smilegate recorded 1 trillion Korean Won (around 920 million US Dollars) in sales for the year of 2020, aided by its expanding PC and mobile games market worldwide. The 3 key games are CrossFire, Lost Ark, and Epic Seven. This is also the first time in the company’s history since its founding in 2002 to hit this milestone.
As such, Smilegate is giving every employee a special bonus of 1.5 million Korean Won (around 1,400 US Dollars) for their efforts. This includes all full-time, part-time, and contracted employees under Smilegate. Lost Ark is now being prepared for its English launch, while a new global mobile game was also recently signed.
