Nexon recently confirmed that it has shut down its development studio in Orange County, California. The studio was first made known in 2017, with several positions open for a new PC project apparently made using Unreal Engine 4 (this was never confirmed). Over the past couple of days, it was made known on several social media sites that Nexon had made the decision to shut the whole team down, although the company said that “its current roadmap has not been changed at all.” Nexon never had a positive history on building its own overseas development teams, but rather focuses more on acquiring existing studios.
