It is not uncommon for a game to release a slew of game trailers before its official launch, but it is certainly one of the rare times which we have seen one based on its gacha summoning system. We are talking about Battle Divas: Slay Mecha, a mobile strategy RPG set to launch worldwide on 19 May by new Singapore-based platform Yatta! Play. Let us take a look at this unusual gacha summoning trailer, and remember to pre-register as well!
From the preview trailer, here are a couple of elements which we can see for the gacha summoning system of Battle Divas:
● As mentioned in the previous article, a key feature of Battle Divas: Slay Mecha is the absence of character gacha. It is also confirmed that by gacha-ing a character’s main weapon, the character will be unlocked as well.
● Players get many chances to re-roll their gacha, and there are apparently 20 chances! We are not sure if this will change for the official launch though. Looks pretty awesome!
● There are only character-specific weapons, as armors and accessories are all shared.
● What will happen if multiple weapons of the same character are gacha-ed? Hmn…
Battle Divas: Slay Mecha also recently reached its 150,000 global pre-registration milestone, unlocking the Cheerleader costume for main character Sarah. We must say, the pom-pom attack looks kinda weird, but it shouldn’t matter as it’s just cosmetic. Battle Divas: Slay Mecha launches 19 May (subject to timezone difference), so pre-register now!
