Vespa Interactive, the Korean developer behind King’s Raid, today announced its financial results for Q4 2019 (October to December). To summarize, it recorded a revenue of nearly USD 27 million, with an operating profit of around USD 1.4 million. Compared to Q3 2019, Vespa said that revenue has increased by 57.4% and operating profit by 112.9%. This huge turnaround is mainly due to King’s Raid performance in Japan, with other contributors including the successful Soul Weapon global update and collaboration with Dreamcatcher.
Large-scale updates, including new content and chapters, are scheduled for King’s Raid throughout 2020 to maintain the game’s popularity. Vespa is also planning to expand the King’s Raid IP through music and animation among various media channels. The ambitious developer also stated that “2020 will be a year of more development as a global developer by diversifying game genres to major global markets.” Stay tuned for any new updates!
