Nexon recently announced that the Korean server of its side-scroll MOBA, Hyper Universe, will end its service on Thursday, November 15, 2018. The game has been in service since Tuesday, November 22, 2016, and the closure date is just days shy of its 2nd anniversary. The main reason given is really just a template respond on how the team found it hard to provide a satisfactory service to the players, hence Hyper Universe is shutting down. Back in November last year, Nexon has already invested financially in developer Cwavesoft for its next 3 projects after Hyper Universe. The English server of Hyper Universe is still running.
