Nexon today announced it has made a strategic investment in new mobile games developer studiobside, founded back in July 2017 by former members of Closers and Elsword. The amount of investment was not made public. studiobside is currently working on Counter Side, described as a “strategy action RPG” and “urban fantasy RPG.” Other than gameplay, a key element of the game is its 2D Japanese-style anime art. Nexon also has obtained the global publishing rights of Counter Side and preferred rights for future studiobside games.
