Korean developer Pearl Abyss today revealed its plans to enhance the music of its flagship PC MMORPG, Black Desert. Securing the services of the German National Orchestra, around 40 pieces of music from a total of 240 will be remastered. Along with this announcement, Pearl Abyss also posted a short video showcasing the German National Orchestra playing one of the new music pieces.
If you missed the earlier news, Pearl Abyss is also working on improving the graphics of Black Desert. Back to the music, the project is said to be led by Pearl Abyss’ own Director of Music who has worked on music-based games such as EZ2DJ and DJMax. It was also confirmed that a few music pieces currently with less impact will be rewritten. The musical upgrade is scheduled for early next year.
