Yesterday, Soul Worker started its Extra Closed Beta phase in Japan, where any player with a Hangame Japan account could join in. Developed by Korean studio Lion Games, this special test phase will last till next Monday, 21 March. On the same day, a regular livestream known as “Soul Worker LIVE 2016” will start airing to showcase the game’s progress. No launch date for the Japan server has been confirmed.
A new 3D animated short series for Soul Worker was also revealed, starting with episode 1 seen below. There will be a total of 5 episodes, and will give players a bigger picture of the in-game world of Soul Worker, with special focus on the main playable characters. Episode 2 is due next Tuesday, 22 March. Soul Worker has only been confirmed for South Korea, Japan, and China at this point of time.
