It seems like Activision Blizzard, home to games such as Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, and more recently Candy Crush, is getting serious about eSports. MLG today announced it has sold “substantially all” assets to Activision Blizzard for 46 million USD, a substantial amount. I am curious about this move, as rival ESL was recently tasked to run the Call of Duty World Pro League.
