The Taiwan branch of Japanese games developer, Bandai Namco, is looking to work with local and Asian studios to develop mobile games based on established intellectual properties. These includes Tekken, SoulCalibur, Katamari Damacy, and Mr. Driller. More IPs will be made available later. For promising indie studios, Bandai Namco will provide adequate support, including finances.
For Asian studios who are interested, an email can be sent to Bandai Namco Taiwan for more information – [email protected], with the topic header being “手機遊戲 IP 合作計畫企劃案” before 30 November (I assume knowledge of Traditional Chinese is required). Bandai Namco is looking for creative proposals and pitches in the email, so good luck to all developers out there.
