While there isn’t a confirmed launch roadmap, China publisher Shanda Games recently announced the start of registration for Borderlands Online’s second test phase, aptly titled “Crazy”. One of the new PVP modes which will be added is shown in the gameplay preview video below, which involves teams capturing Claptrap and bringing him back to base, pretty much similar to Capture the Flag mode found in most shooters. I do love the twist here!
Developed by Gearbox Software and Shanda Games, exclusively for the China region, Borderlands Online will be one of the major highlights at ChinaJoy 2015, which begins next week. Other than some bug fixes and UI improvements, there is apparently nothing new for the instance-based PVE maps in the new test phase. More details for Borderlands Online can be found in my previous posts. Will the Chinese gamers fall in love with the IP?
