In less than 10 hours, with no marketing campaign initiated, Tree of Savior has been approved by Steam for an official launch through Steam Greenlight. South Korea developer, IMC Games, has since confirmed it was them who made the Steam submission. I am not sure if this Steam English version is just a test server until regional publishers snap up the game, but I am definitely not complaining.
Currently being published by Nexon in South Korea and awaiting an official launch, Tree of Savior was also confirmed for China under ChangYou. No other overseas servers were announced, though IMC Games did mentioned about a global test version previously. Featuring 80 playable classes, each with unique skills and abilities, the game is touted as the real successor to Ragnarok Online.
