A little info, Hello Kitty is really popular in Taiwan and Hong Kong, perhaps even more than its homeland of Japan. With that, the NC Taiwan has started a limited Hello Kitty event with Sanrio for Blade & Soul. Players can get a special balloon head wear by participating in a daily PVE event (collecting items to trade for it) or purchase cash packages with the full Hello Kitty head costume.
Update: NCsoft is holding the same Hello Kitty event in South Korea and Japan for Blade & Soul as well! This is actually a “global” event for all the three Asian servers. I wonder what made Sanrio decide to enter this collaboration, but I guess it is a win-win situation. Will NCsoft hold such an event (other than Hello Kitty) when the North America and Europe servers are online? We shall see.
