[Beta register] Obsidian Entertainment recently released the second episode of Armored Warfare’s developer walkthroughs, touching on how armor types and protection features in the game can save a player. The armor system in Armored Warfare reflects advancements in armored vehicle technology from real life, with factors including the thickness, the material and the angle of the armor.
All of these elements can reduce or negate damage from other vehicles. Protection features called Countermeasures in Armored Warfare are also very valuable to survival and include smoke grenades to eliminate enemy visuals and hard kill systems to destroy enemy missiles before they reach players.
