Published by GameOn, the Japan subsidiary of Korean giant Neowiz, it was announced yesterday at a live event that Black Desert Japan will enter its Pre-Open Beta phase on 1 April. It will last until 10 April, with no actual date for Open Beta scheduled. Only 10,000 applicants will be selected. In terms of the game, content up to level 30 will be available, though it is uncertain if there will be a date wipe.
Developed by Pearl Abyss, with a group of core developers which worked on Continent of the Ninth, Black Desert has launched in South Korea, while servers in Russia and Japan are being prepared. No China publisher has yet to be announced, while Korean publisher Daum has set up a new office to launch the game in North America and Europe in the near future. Stay tuned for more news!
