According to reports from South Korea, developer Smilegate has suspended development for Project Pentakill (Project PK), a MOBA featuring Marvel characters which was first announced back in November 2012. Nothing concrete of the game was shown thus far except concept art.
Smilegate, developer of the top earning free-to-play game worldwide in 2013 (CrossFire China), recently underwent a series of business identity refresh as well, sporting a new corporate identity and several new company logos for its various local and overseas subsidiaries.
Just a note, Project PK was to feature characters such as Monkey King, Guan Yu etc as well. Currently actively recruiting, it seems the company will be focusing more on mobile games, while making fewer client games. Infinite Crisis, a MOBA featuring heroes from DC Comics, seems to be doing well.
