[Game website] The North America server for ArcheAge supposedly entered Open Beta about an hour ago, but currently, all games and websites under publisher Trion Worlds are under heavy DDOS attack. The company mentioned that Open Beta will still go in despite the on-off service.
Some players have managed to log in and create characters, but currently I have yet to meet one able to play the game. There will be a patch of 800MB awaiting eager gamers as well, along with various tweaks. Open Beta will end 4 days later, with the headstart phase next before officially launching.
Do note that ArcheAge is basically free-to-play, but players who subscribe to a monthly plan will gain more benefits and access to features such as player housing. To enjoy ArcheAge to the fullest, I truly recommend everyone to join a big and active guild. Trust me, it is definitely essential.
