NCsoft Japan held a private “Premier Show” event for Blade & Soul earlier, and announced several new details. First, the “Limited Trial” will start from 13th May to 15th May, followed by the “Open Trail” from 16th to 19th May, and finally, commercial launch will take place on 20th May 2014.
Blade & Soul Japan will be using a monthly payment business model (P2P), with prices and charges to be revealed at a later date. However, there will still be a limited cash item shop in the game on top of the monthly payment. I wonder how will this affect the large FFXIV population there…
And finally, a new trailer for the upcoming Blade & Soul anime, set to air in Japan next month (April). As you can see, several of the female main characters will be the leads. Gonzo is the studio behind this anime, which made several popular series such as Desert Punk, Strike Witches and The Tower of Druaga.
