Following the current business model revolution in Japan, publisher GameOn announced recently that ArcheAge Japan will be switching to Free-to-Play on 24th April 2014, doing away with the monthly payment model. However, players who pay the USD 17.00 monthly sub will get tons of bonuses.
Other than the business model switch, the latest update from South Korea, Version 1.0, will be released on the same day. As mentioned in previous posts, the level cap will be raised from 50 to 55, including new maps, gears, monsters, systems and more. After the switch, all ArcheAge servers will be F2P.
