Announced by Namco Bandai just a few hours ago, Tales of Asteria is the latest addition to the “Tales of” series. Launching for the iOS and Android platform later this spring (only for Japan), this mobile game will star 6 of the main characters from the series of games.
According to press releases, Tales of Asteria will have a brand new storyline penned by the same team behind the previous games. These 6 heroes will both help and clash against each other over “Star Fragments”, which apparently grants wishes. I am guessing each hero will have their own agendas…
There is no actual gameplay images or trailers yet, but Namco Bandai has labelled Tales of Asteria as a RPG. The images below displays some of the characters which can be used in the game, and the star symbols hint at possibly a card collection meta-game. Nothing is confirmed, so stay tuned!
