While I am not going into the numbers (Japan, North America and Europe underperformed in Q4 2013), the product list is something I will like to briefly touch on. The company recently stopped development on Mabinogi II: Arena, and apparently has turned its focus on other new titles.
Nexon invested millions into North American developers such as Rumble Entertainment and Shiver Entertainment in a bid to revive the ailing Western market, and the products are due to launch officially later this year. Apparently the popular Peria Chronicles will not be launching in 2014.
Other than MapleStory 2, the other eye-catching title will be Ghost in the Shell Online. Originally scheduled for launch in the 1st half of 2014, the first person shooter (FPS) has been pushed to the 2nd half. There is nothing else really surprising in the report, let’s wait for G-Star 2014!
