GameHi had been pretty stagnant these couple of years after being bought out by Nexon Korea. Famed for its titles such as Dekaron and Sudden Attack, it was announced that GameHi will merge with Nextoric, another Nexon studio.
Nextoric is a portal under Nexon which operates and develop content for “older” legacy titles, such as TalesWeaver, Kingdom of the Winds and Asgard. With the merger, Nextoric will cease while GameHi will now be the overall brand name.
Also revealed was the development of a new FPS using Unreal Engine 3, which is now possible with around 300 staff after merging. It is not confirmed that the game will be titled “Sudden Attack 2”, but it will be based on the original sequel concept, which never started years ago due to resources constraints.
