After the departure of influential former Art Director, Kim Hyung Tae, another important member for Team Bloodlust announced his leaving. 김호식, or “hosix”, is the game designer and writer who first suggested that an epic storyline is important for Blade & Soul.
Hosix also spearheaded the concept of character, drama, and disputes, which he insisted are important for crafting a movie-like experience. The current version for Blade & Soul sees former enemies teaming up with players against a common rising threat, a twist in terms of storyline.
Having worked on Blade & Soul for around 5 years, Hosix mentioned on his Twitter that his departure from Team Bloodlust was actually agreed a year ago. Unlike Kim Hyung Tae, he has yet to leave NCsoft, and there is currently no info on which project he will work on next.
