According to foreign media, the Free-to-Play Russian server for ArcheAge has reportedly made over USD 10 million thus far, even though the game only launched this past weekend. The sources did not specify where the revenue comes from, but I am guessing pre-launch and weekend sales were included.
The last I know, there were 15 servers deployed, with more to come as publisher Mail.ru attempts to control the insane amount of traffic. Features in development and trial now include free character transfer from a full server to a less occupied one and a system to kick AFK players.
According to a Russian ArcheAge fan, whom I have the pleasure to meet back at Gamescom 2012, someone on Reddit is spreading a self-made full English patch. Threads and posts were taken down, since Trion Worlds is publishing the English version in NA and EU. Chat more about ArcheAge here.
