[Game website] Renowned South Korea-based game developer XLGAMES is bringing highly anticipated ArcheAge to Russia. Jake Song, CEO of XLGAMES gave a speech at a press conference for around 100 journalists and major game community leader in Moscow, Russia.
During the press conference, Jake Song expressed deep gratitude for the big support of Russian gamers on last CBT which was held from last December to this February, and announced ArcheAge Russia’s commercial service will begin on 22th February.
Jake Song said “I already knew that Russian gamers are very enthusiastic about ArcheAge from what they showed at ArcheAge Korea CBT. To keep up with their expectations we plan to add exclusive contents just for Russian gamers under strong partnership with Russia’s biggest internet portal Mail.ru”.
ArcheAge has been positioned as one of the most highly anticipated MMORPG in Russia since 2010 when it held its first CBT in Korea. Russia’s leading game guilds and communities participated in Korea CBTs and expressed great expectations. At the latest ArcheAge Russia CBT, ArcheAge Russia publisher Mail.ru even had to increase servers for over one million Russian gamers made petition.
