Over the past 2 days, the Taiwan server for Aura Kingdom, Fantasy Frontier, got updated with a couple of major new content. First off, there is the new friends bonus system, along with a new mecha Eidolon (from cash shop random box) which is taking transformation to the next level.
As you can see in the trailer above, the new Eidolon known as Icarus can gattai (Japanese for combine) with players, giving extra stats bonus. Of course, the ranged players will become melee attackers as well. There is a storyline behind Icarus, but to summarize, this mecha inherited his creator’s will.
The friends bonus system should be something released shortly after launch, but I guess it is better late than never. Players and their friends (on friends list of course) will gain Friendship Points killing monsters (usually bosses) which gives Frontier Points.
There are a couple of bonuses when Friendship Points are high. When killing monsters together in a party, there will be extra experience points and even Frontier Points dropping for all. When friends gesture to each other, there will be a bonus as well!
