While the Korea server is getting its Season 2 update, Blade & Soul China is preparing to welcome Chinese New Year, which is starting next Friday. To celebrate the event, permanent holiday costumes are sold in the cash shop, which will cost around USD 28.00 packaged with some other items.
There is also a new festive event where players have to kill off the existing monster, Giant Toad, to randomly spawn the “Nian” monster. Nian (Year) is a famous monster in Chinese myth, where folks use fire crackers to scare it off. The process works almost similarly here as well, pretty awesome.
