[Source] Perhaps the most hyped action RPG at one time, it was announced that the global server for Mythos will shut down on 22nd January 2014. Also known as the “next Diablo” as developer Flagship Studios was formed by ex-Blizzard staff, the game did not fare well once Hanbitsoft assumed ownership.
The main man behind Mythos left when Flagship Studios sunk, and formed a small company known as Runic Games, making the critically acclaimed Torchlight series of games. Korean publisher Hanbitsoft seemed clueless on how to progress with the game, which is a mighty shame.
