Launching in Japan back in 2007, Monster Hunter Frontier will soon be upgraded from its “G” version to “GG” early next year, where the 2nd letter represents “Genuine”. Perhaps the most important feature will be the upgrading of visuals by developer Capcom.
As seen in the screenshots above, the graphics will get much better following an engine upgrade. Sadly, there are not many companies doing such a major task now for their products. A new tonfa weapon will be introduced as well, coming with 3 state “stages” and the ability to block.
Other features include Felyne Comrades, which will reportedly work similar as its console version where the feline will aid players in certain quests, and there is also a few art pieces of a “tower” being teased. No details are available right now.
