First launched in 2012 for English gamers, Wakfu has now entered Closed Beta in China. Developed by Ankama Games, a French transmedia company, Wakfu features turn-based combat currently with 15 character classes to choose from.
Other game systems include crafting professions, gathering, and an interesting ecosystem, where players control the number of monsters, plants and weather in each territory, directly affecting player progression and nation as a whole.
