With the Closed Beta phase known as “Predatory Test” starting on 24th October in China, a new boss monster was revealed. This time, the electric-charged Khezu makes its appearance. Veterans of the series should find this a familiar face, making its first appearance back in 2004 for Monster hunter.
The Khezu doesn’t really look like a real dragon or wyvern, preferring to live deep in caves, hence the regressed eyes. Without scales, it is protected by a layer of thick skin and strong sense of smell. The Khezu can extend its soft neck to attack, as well as generating electricity to damage and paralyze foes.
Seen below is a footage of a new boss monster exclusive to this game, Baelidae, which was posted a couple of days ago. A spider-like monster, players must look out for its web attacks and sudden lunges.
