[Source] According to a Korean report with information from industry insiders, XLGAMES is preparing for restructuring after ArcheAge did not meet financial expectations in the Korean market after the massive outlay for its development.
This is despite after going Free-to-Play and several game updates, with the recent siege content not receiving positive response from the community, along with bugging imbalance issues not solved.
The report also claimed that “welfare benefits were suspended since the start of August”, with the upcoming company restructure being a massive one. However, note that all is not gloom for XLGAMES and this is just a rumor.
ArcheAge Japan is reportedly receiving positive numbers, with the China server launching in a few months and the upcoming Civilization Online making media waves.
