Just announced earlier today at Tokyo Game Show 2013, Pictlogica Final Fantasy is 1 of the many mobile games Square Enix is preparing to launch this coming winter. The genre marketed for this title is “PRG”, which stands for puzzle roleplaying game.
As you can tell, gameplay is not just simply having a team of warriors and going ahead with a turn-based battle. The tiles seen are part of the puzzle and strategy element of Pictlogica, as well as the core mechanic. There will be the familiar guardian summon system included as well.
