A few days back, the Korea Communications Commission revealed that Nexon had 1.32 million reported cases of account leaks from 2011 to 2012, out of the total estimated 6.34 million known cases including those from major telecoms and IT companies.
Nexon Korea was hacked in late 2011 and early 2011 via MapleStory, with private information exposed. While a public apology was subsequently made with the government interfering as well, it is unknown of the steps Nexon has since taken to beef up their security.
