[Download page] A Realm Reborn is heading towards its official launch in under a month on 22nd August, and the official benchmark tool has been released to the public. For those who are new to benchmark tools, it is basically a software to help gauge if your system is suitable to run the game.
My old system apparently got a pretty high score, much to my surprise (I was planning of getting a new system soon). A Realm Reborn will require a monthly subscription, something which developer Square Enix is not prepared to change.
There is also a character creation section, where appearance data can be saved for use during the beta test and official service. Pretty awesome eh?
