Blizzard Entertainment, creators of the popular Diablo and Warcraft franchise, is preparing to make a huge announcement over at Gamescom 2013 later this month. However, there are mixed reactions with the cryptic messages being sent out.
You see, while Blizzard officially stated that “We’re making a special announcement that’s sure to capture the attention of the Heavens, Burning Hells and all the shadowed places that lie between,” a group of gamers insist that World of Warcraft’s new expansion will be announced instead.
The Gamescom 2013 poster for Blizzard, seen below, apparently teases Queen Azshara and the Seas from World of Warcraft. This will make it the 5th expansion for the most successful MMORPG in history. Which theory are you digging into? I guess we will find out the answer soon.
