Swordsman Online will be entering Open Beta on 28th June in China, and developer Perfect World has revealed an exclusive Collector’s Edition box for the game.
First off, there is the exquisite 16GB USB drive. It is designed after the clan emblem of Sun and Moon Sect, where the Invincible East (or Dongfang Bubai) is the leader.
The USB is actually separated as the sun and moon, which signifies the clan’s ambitions to conquer the world. The full Swordsman Online client is in it as well.
Second, there is this specially-crafted weapon figurine, which is also based on the main in-game weapon (Sun blade and Moon blade) of the Sun and Moon Sect. When the 2 parts combine, the weapon will measure around 50cm.
Finally, there is a gift code for players to obtain a special in-game mount, the Blackscale Dragon Steed. Of course, this mount will have better stats than the ones acquired through normal methods. There is currently no price set for this special package.
Swordsman Online kind of fell flat for me when I tested it, as the game did not have the massive open wuxia world I was looking for. However, the graphic is top-notch, no doubt the best looking title from Perfect World.
