First of all, this test phase will only be happening in China. Second, publisher Tencent Games has already announced that the codes will be made very limited, hence I don’t see myself getting a key as well. The keys will probably go for upwards of USD 1,000 on the black market…
While folks overseas will be skeptical how the general gamers in China will be able to run the game due to CryEngine 3’s requirements, the recommended system specs for the debut test is surprisingly low. As highlighted in red, this is not the final specs for the game.
Before I forget, the debut test phase will be happening on 28th June. I estimate that Monster Hunter Online will only enter Open Beta 1 year from the debut test at the earliest.
