MapleStory, the evergreen MMORPG still played by millions around the world now, is hitting its 10th birthday in its homeland of South Korea. To celebrate this event, Nexon will be holding an extravagant event on 19th May, with female K-pop groups Sistar and Girl’s Day as the star performers.
Along with all the festivities, it seems that a new class will be introduced at the event, with his silhouette seen below. Is that a greatsword? I thought there was a class (or 2) with that weapon already… Hmn…
At the event, there will be tons of items given away as well, both virtual and physical. Looks like some of the virtual items are limited, and I have no doubt folks will be waking up early for them…
I expect Nexon to have a rocking party, and in all honesty, MapleStory deserves to be given all the recognition. The King of Asian MMOs in my opinion, and I don’t think any Asian game comes close.
