The 2nd Niconico Chokaigi is currently running for the weekend, and the development team for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is there to showcase the product. Producer Naoki Yoshida, now a household name with the FFXIV fans, reaffirmed that the PS3 and PC versions of the game will launch this summer.
When asked about a possible PlayStation 4 version, Yoshida did not confirm anything, but will likely to look out for responses from the community regarding this. A Realm Reborn will also be “optimized” for Windows 8, as Square Enix and Microsoft are running a couple of events to promote the partnership.
