With Ragnarok Online getting a major revival in China, starting with the Open Beta phase a few hours from now, the only child of China’s 3rd richest man has sent out a message via his Weibo account to start an elite-only guild.
In the message, Wang Sicong called out for interested male players to send him their companies’ values (entrepreneurs only), e-Sports veterans to send him their records while female applicants must send him their best photos. Successful applicants will be given a gift pack, although it is unclear if it is in-game or an actual physical one.
Wang Sicong is also the owner of China e-Sports team, Invictus Gaming, which has been making waves in both Dota and Dota 2. His father, Wang Jialin, is now China’s 3rd richest man with a worth of USD 8 billion, according to Forbes.
