Thanks to Kalam for messaging me the news via Facebook. After being accused of cheating players by launching without promised features, taken down from Steam and faced the wrath of almost all game media websites I frequent, The War Z is now back at it again. According to the forums, there are now at least 50+ pages of ban appeals.
Majority of the players have no idea why are they banned, while some claimed they were banned for “Fairfight”. While I never really got into the game after reading the various first-hand impressions, this is just a low by the developer, where the staff apparently made several sub-par titles before.
