SA significant amount of players on the new Europe server, Naia, have found themselves being banned from entering the game, with a thread in the official forums gathering the victims. While initially denying the mistake, the C0mmunity Manager has quickly changed tunes, admitting the error.
Judging from the latest replies, it seems NCsoft has yet to really unban the innocent players despite claiming the situation has been resolved.. According to the graph below (source), players online saw a steep drop. Thanks to Kristaps for the news via Facebook PM.
