Earlier today, Nexon issued a press release in Japan (where the company is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange), announcing that the company has acquired the rights to develop an online game based on Ghost in the Shell.
3 titles from the franchise will be used: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society. The game is slated for a global release upon completion.
