Although these bits and parts of these 2 videos have been shown previously, I just thought that it will be good to refresh everyone’s memory on Black Gold Online, Suzhou Snail Game’s next blockbuster MMORPG after Age of Wushu/ Wulin.
Featuring 2 warring factions, each with 3 races, Black Gold Online talks about an epic struggle between magic and technology and the fight over the powerful resource, Black Gold.
The game will feature a hybrid combat system. While players can still target enemies (with that red ring around), attack and skills are actually free, meaning players must aim properly and at the right distance to hit them.
There will be massive PvP battles, randomized server/ world events, instanced dungeons and more. Think of it like an alternate version of Guild Wars 2, Asian style. The first Closed Beta is still scheduled for Winter 2012, despite no updated news thus far.
