SEGA Japan today announced Phantasy Star Online 2 obtaining its 1 millionth account on 1st October 2012, which took just around 3 months after launch to achieve this feat.
Personally, I feel this is quite the accomplishment knowing how the MMORPG market in Japan is still in its growing stages compared with other countries.
The 3rd content update since launch, Call of Fatality, will launch tomorrow, adding the much anticipatedsubclass system and many more new maps. The English server is scheduled to launch Spring 2013.
